PICnet Congressional Client Awarded Highest Web Honor

2006 Golden Mouse Award Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney , a PICnet client on Capitol Hill, today won the coveted Golden Mouse Award, the highest honor a congressional Web site can achieve.

The Congressional Management Foundation today unveiled its report titled 2006 Golden Mouse Report: Recognizing the Best Web Sites on Capitol Hill (PDF - 5MB) , and inside detailed how Congresswoman Maloney's Web site, along with another PICnet client, Congressman Ed Markey , provided high-quality Web communications for their respective constituents.

From the report:

“Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney’s Web site exemplifies how to use advances in technology and the Internet to better serve the growing number of constituents that are online. The content is comprehensive and cross-referenced. The wealth of features provides users with a sense of the work the Representative does, her accomplishments, and the services she provides.”

Congratulations to Congresswoman Maloney and Congressman Markey's offices!

J!Salesforce - Joomla and Salesforce come together

Salesforce.com We're gearing up for the launch of J!Salesforce, a Joomla component that we believe is going to create quite a shakeup in the Joomla and Salesforce communities.

The main goal is this: make it easy for Joomla Web sites to easily pull and push data between it and Salesforce.com.  So far, the progress has been amazing, and we'll be updating it on the PICnet blog in more detail.
