WASHINGTON - PICnet, Inc. (www.picnet.net),
a technology consulting firm for non-profit organizations, today
announced the addition of a new client to their roster. The Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) has contracted with PICnet for its multimedia
authoring and Web development expertise.
As CFF hosts its annual
conference, PICnet will be working hand-in-hand with CFF staff members
to manage their entire Web presence in real time during the conference.
After the conference is completeld, PICnet will also develop a CD-ROM
containing all of the presentations and information delivered at the
conference. These materials will be released immediately after the
conference and distributed to more than 3000 individuals around the
world, including those with cystic fibrosis who could not attend the
conference in person.
Since its inception, the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation has aggressively pursued its goal of developing the means to
cure and control cystic fibrosis. The Foundation has established more
than 100 accredited centers throughout the nation to diagnose and
provide care for those with the disease. The staff includes physicians,
nurses, therapists, social workers, other medical professionals, and
volunteers who undergo thorough training.
